Equity Through Education
On September 20, BMO celebrates its 18th Annual Equity Through Education Trading Day, where we donate 100% of one day’s equity trading commissions in North America and Europe to charities.
We’re proud to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of the Baruch College Mentorship Program and our fantastic partnership with the Finance Women’s Association that’s made the program possible.
[Baruch College Graduate Voiceover]
Did you know that during the 2018-2019 academic year, 44% of undergraduates made history by becoming the first in their family to earn a college degree. Despite the challenges I faced, as a daughter of a single mother and victim of domestic violence, I managed to beat the odds and obtain acceptance into Baruch College.

Throughout the 20 years of mentorship, we’ve helped:
330 students
302 graduates
52 undergraduate scholarships
55 scholars study abroad
[Baruch College Graduate Voiceover]
I am grateful to BMO Capital Markets Equity Through Education Program for investing in FWA. Your financial support was a big help to me, letting me focus on my studies and campus activities.
