Chris is a Managing Director and lead Mining Specialist in the US for BMO, and works closely with the BMO global team of mining specialists and mining analysts in Canada, US, Europe and Asia. Chris rejoined BMO in May, 2013 from another global investment dealer where he held a similar role.  Prior to joining BMO Capital Markets, Chris was an Associate Portfolio Manager for the First Eagle Gold Fund based in New York, where he helped oversee over $3 billion in gold investments.  Chris has over 25 years of experience in the Mining Industry with previous roles in mining equity research, fund management, and specialist sales.  Chris has worked closely with most corporate management teams in the mining industry.  

Chris holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degree from McGill University and a Masters degree in Economics from the University of Toronto. Chris is a CFA Charterholder.
