Darren was appointed Head of Global Markets Canada in November 2025, responsible for execution and financial performance of the Canadian strategy across FICC and Equities.

Prior to that, Darren was Head of BMO's FICC Institutional Sales team for Canada, where he was responsible for the distribution of Global Rates, Credit and FX products into the Institutional client base across Canada.

Darren has 20 years of Capital Markets experience, spanning Toronto, London and Hong Kong, starting his career in Investment & Corporate Banking as part of the Metals & Mining group at BMO, focused on Mergers & Acquisitions, and Equity Finance.

Darren holds a BS in Mining & Mechanical Engineering from Queen’s University.
