Eric Benedict
Managing Director, Co-Head, Global Equity Capital Markets
Eric Benedict is Managing Director and Co-Head of Global Equity Capital Markets at BMO Capital Markets. In this role, Eric is responsible for overseeing the origination and execution of Equity offerings for issuers in partnership with BMO’s Investment Banking and Equities groups.
Eric is a 22-year industry veteran that has consistently provided best of class results for clients and shareholders. He has spent the bulk of his career at Morgan Stanley where he has held several senior roles. Eric was a Managing Director across several groups including Morgan Stanley’s Global Capital Markets, Wealth Management and Private Wealth Management groups. Between 2009 and 2012, Eric was Head of U.S. Equity Syndicate and most recently, he was head of Morgan Stanley’s Private Wealth Management group.
Eric started his career at Morgan Stanley Dean Witter on the Fixed Income Sales and Trading desk. He holds a Bachelor of Arts from Brown University.
