Glenn Anson was appointed Head of Global Markets Asia for BMO in May 2018, based in Hong Kong.

As Head of Global Markets Asia, Glenn is responsible for the strategy and management of the sales and trading businesses located in Hong Kong and Tokyo. Glenn serves as Deputy Chief Executive and member of the management committee of the Hong Kong branch.

BMO Global Markets Asia is an active market participant within Fixed Income, Securitized Product, Foreign Exchange, Metals, Equity Derivatives, Money Markets and Financing markets. These products service our core Institutional, Sovereign & Corporate clients in the region and align with our global client and product strategies.

Glenn joined BMO in 2016 as Head of Sales for FICC businesses in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) before relocating to Hong Kong. Glenn brings over 35 years of client facing experience and is familiar with the operating environment having run global sales groups in Europe and Asia at bulge bracket firms. Glenn has a particular specialization within the Central Bank and Sovereign Wealth fund community.
