Glenn Anson was appointed Executive Officer and Head of Global Markets Asia for BMO in May 2018, based in Hong Kong.

As Head of Global Markets Asia, Glenn is responsible for the strategy and management of the sales and trading businesses in BMO’s three main Global Markets offices in Hong Kong, Japan and China. Glenn is also a member of the BMO Asia Executive Committee.

BMO Global Markets Asia are active market participants within Fixed Income, Securitised Product, Foreign Exchange, Metals, Equity Derivatives, Money Markets and Financing markets. These products service our core Institutional, Sovereign, Real Money & Corporate clients in the region and align with our global client and product & client strategy.

Glenn joined BMO in 2016 as Head of Sales for FICC businesses in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) before relocating to Hong Kong. Glenn brings over 35 years of client facing experience and is familiar with the operating environment having run global sales businesses in Europe and Asia at bulge bracket firms. Glenn has a particular specialisation within the Central Bank and Sovereign Wealth fund community.
