Jamie is Co-Head of BMO Capital Markets’ Global Metals & Mining Group and the Head of Investment & Corporate Banking (I&CB) in British Columbia, having joined the firm in 1996. Jamie is responsible for the strategic direction, coordination, and performance of the Global Metals & Mining practice and the British Columbia I&CB group. Representative transactions include Lundin Mining’s US$1.2 billion sale of its Tenke mine; Nevsun’s $1.8 billion sale to Zijin Mining; Eldorado Gold’s US$900 million sale of its Chinese assets to Yintai and China National Gold and Tahoe Mining’s US$1.3 billion sale to Pan American Silver. Jamie holds an Honours Bachelor of Commerce from the University of British Columbia and is a CFA.
