John joined BMO Capital Markets in 2017 as an associate on the global oil & gas research team, focusing on Canadian oilfield service companies. He was promoted to an analyst role in 2020, covering the Canadian oil & gas services sector. He also covers select industrials companies.

Prior to joining BMO, he spent a total of four years covering the oilfield service sector at AltaCorp Capital and CIBC Capital Markets. John holds a degree in Economics from Dartmouth College and is a CFA Charterholder.
