John Uhren is Global Head, Sustainable Finance, at BMO Capital Markets. He leads strategic initiatives and product development across the enterprise, including raising capital and providing sustainable advisory support to clients. Prior to joining the Sustainable Finance team, John was Senior Counsel and Director in Capital Markets Legal at BMO, and in 2017 won Lexpert’s Rising Star Award as a top Canadian lawyer under 40.

John holds a Juris Doctor from Queens University Faculty of Law, along with a Bachelor of Commerce from University of Alberta.
