​Kate Whalen leads Global Client Coverage for BMO Capital Markets. In this role she is responsible for a client focused coverage model across a broad suite of products including rates, foreign exchange, commodities and mortgages.

Prior to this role, Kate was Co-Head of Agency CMBS Trading and helped BMO grow to a market leader in the space. Kate joined BMO through its acquisition of KGS-Alpha Capital Markets in 2018. Kate came to KGS-Alpha at its inception and held roles in both Securitized Products Sales and Trading while there.

Kate holds a B.A. in Comparative Literature from Brown University.
