Katherine Krantz joined BMO Capital Markets in 2025 as Managing Director, Macro Strategy. She is a co-founder and former CEO of The Macro Institute, a boutique firm specializing in macro investment training. Katherine has extensive experience in macroeconomic analysis and investment strategy, having held senior research roles at UBS and Cornerstone Macro, as well as prior roles in wealth management. She earned an MA in Economics and Econometrics from McGill University and a BA in Economics and Mathematical Methods from Northwestern University. Katherine also holds the M²SD designation.
