Lyle Wilpon
Vice Chair, Investment Banking
Lyle Wilpon is the Vice Chairman of Investment Banking at BMO Capital Markets. He is a senior member of the Mergers & Acquisitions team, having led the Global Advisory practice for the past eight years, and continues to serve in an advisory role to the firm’s global management committee.
Lyle brings over 30 years of investment banking experience as an M&A specialist across multiple sectors, advising clients on the full suite of M&A activities – including divestitures, restructurings and cross-border acquisitions.
Lyle joined BMO Capital Markets in 2014. Prior to that, he spent 14 years with Bank of America Merrill Lynch (BAML), where he headed their Healthcare M&A and Middle Market M&A team. Earlier in his career, Lyle worked at Houlihan Lokey, Credit Suisse First Boston, Lazard Freres, and Wasserstein Perella.
Lyle is actively involved in charitable work. As a proud supporter of the United Way, he continues to serve as Co-Chair of the BMO Capital Markets Employee Giving Campaign.
Lyle earned an undergraduate degree from Amherst College and an MBA from Harvard University.
