Michael Brodie has over 18 years of real estate investment banking, brokerage and capital markets experience. He has advised on over $20 bn of real estate transactions across a wide range of asset classes and types of assignments, including M&A, IPOs, Public Equity and Debt financings, Strategic Reviews and portfolio sales. Michael’s recent experience includes advising on InterRent’s $4.0bn sale to CLV & GIC, Go Residential’s US$500mm IPO, Artis REIT’s strategic review process, BSR REIT’s US$619mm portfolio sale to AvalonBay, and Melcor REIT’s $550mm sale to Melcor Developments.

He holds an MBA in Finance and Real Estate from the Schulich School of Business at York University.
