Mike is a Managing Director and Head of the Financial Sponsors Group. Mike joined BMO Capital Markets as Managing Director & Head of the Financial Sponsors Group in 2018 and successfully leads our Financial Sponsors coverage effort globally.
Mike was also the Head of Investment Banking from January 2021 – September 2023. Prior to joining BMO Capital Markets, he spent 10 years at Morgan Stanley, as Managing Director in the Financial Sponsors Group and Head of Retail Investment Banking. Prior to Morgan Stanley, Mike spent 7 years at Deutsche Bank Securities in the Corporate Finance Department. While at Deutsche Bank, he was a member of the Industrials Group, covering public and private companies across the industrial landscape. Mike has a strong track record of success and over 25 years of investment experience across LBOs, IPOs, M&A, and debt financings.
Mike received his MBA from the University of Maryland and BS from the University of Connecticut.
