Rohit Kumar was appointed head of Global Structured Products Trading in 2021. The Global Structured Products Group is responsible for developing bespoke structuring solutions for our clients through leveraging our underlying product capabilities across Global Markets. In addition, the group is responsible for optimizing the risk/return profile of the Global Markets liquidity and discretionary accrual portfolios. Rohit previously led Securitized Products Trading at BMO.

Prior to joining BMO in 2018, Rohit had over 20 years of experience in global markets, including leading the Agency RMBS business at KGS-Alpha, heading the Agency CMO business at UBS and trading mortgage securities at Barclays Capital. He received his Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), MS in Aero and Astro Engineering from Stanford University and an MBA from New York University.
