As CIOO, BMO Commercial Bank, Susan White is responsible for driving the T&O innovation and support strategy for BMO's Commercial Bank, including the development, implementation and maintenance of BMO's best-in-class customer systems, technologies and operational processes. As CIOO, BMO Capital Markets, Susan White aligns with the BMO Capital Markets team to provide end-to-end support for the global Capital Markets business lifecycle from origination to settlement, ensuring a superior client experience while accelerating speed to market.

Susan has an accomplished track record driving sustainable business value through building high performance teams, problem solving and transformational change. Susan joined BMO in October 2015 as a Chief Information Officer, reporting jointly to Technology and Finance, where she was instrumental in leading the successful implementation of modern general ledger technology and the retirement of over 40 legacy applications across Finance. Susan then went on to serve as Chief Operating Officer, Technology and Operations (COO, T&O) and Chief Information and Operations Officer (CIOO), Corporate Areas Technology, where she continued her commitment to promoting simplicity, speed, and efficiency across all Corporate Areas. 
 

In addition to her more than 25 years' experience in Capital Markets Operations, Technology, Data Governance and Finance, Susan also spent nearly three years building in-house operation teams and implementing various Derivative and Portfolio Management systems for the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board.
