Tamy covers the consumer sector, mainly focused on retailing and autos, as well as the cannabis sector. She joined BMO Capital Markets in 2015 as an associate on the consumer/retailing research team. She was promoted to an analyst role in 2018, covering the Canadian cannabis sector. Then in the early 2020s, she picked up coverage of consumer retailing and automotive names. Tamy was ranked as a TopGun analyst (Biotech/Healthcare) in the 2024 Brendan Wood International survey. 

Prior to joining Equity Research, Tamy worked in investment banking at another Canadian financial institution. Tamy holds a bachelor of business administration from York University’s Schulich School of Business, where she graduated on the Dean’s Roll. She is also a CFA charterholder.
