The Food and Consumer space has been greatly impacted by COVID-19 and we expect disruption in areas ranging from labor to inventory to continue even as we move toward recovery. It is more important now than at any other time for companies to share ideas and information, which is why we have pivoted our #FarmtoMarket #BMOConference to a 100% virtual kicking off tomorrow, a first of its kind in this space.
Over 100 presenting companies and nearly 600 investors will participate in 1,200 one-on-one conversations discussing company strategies and industry shifts. Over 2 days we will cover the state of the restaurant industry, CPG, e-commerce and lessons learned on supply chain management.
BMO experts Michael Torrance, Chief Sustainability Officer and Jonathan Hackett, MD & Head of Sustainable Finance will kick-off the agenda with a discussion on sustainability. The following day, Lyle Wilpon, will discuss the state of the M&A market and Brian G Belski will give a market outlook for these sectors.
Thanks to all our clients for taking part in this journey with us; I am proud that our team rose to the challenge to bring this conference to our clients and investors in a virtual environment.
