Isabela Teixeira Mendes

Isabela Mendes is Director and US Head Global Trade within Bank of Montreal’s Chicago Global Trade sales group where she leads a team of sales professionals. Isabela also covers the Food, Consumer and Retail sector within BMO’s trade finance line of business and is responsible for the acquisition of new clients and growing Bank of Montreal’s share of wallet. Isabela has been with BMO since 2007 and was previously Director of Supply Chain Finance (SCF), covering Industrials, Mining and Food, Consumer and Retail sector. Isabela has over 25 years of experience working for large corporations in Brazil and the US and has spent most of her career in roles of increasing responsibility within Structured Trade, Project Financing and Global Trade. Isabela obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration from Fundacao Getulio Vargas in Brazil, and a joint MBA from University of Toronto, Rotman School of Management and Business School Sao Paulo.
